About Us

Who Are We?

Headway Fitness started in November 2024 when Kaiden, who had 7 years of workout programming experience, began sharing his workouts with friends and family.
The results spoke for themselves, and demand grew fast. With Brandon helping build the systems behind it, Headway turned into something bigger, a platform built to make fitness simple and effective.

We’re here to cut through the noise: no fluff, no confusion, just smart, structured training that works.

Our goal is to see as many people training as possible and we believe training at home is the most efficient and inclusive way to train. And yes, you can see serious results. It’s not just so you can feel good about yourself.

Train smart, live well, and don’t overthink it.

We Believe...

We believe in the people serious enough to get better.

Not perfect. Not elite. Just real people who show up. Even when it’s hard. Because getting better isn’t something you try, it’s something you live.

We believe in growth. In showing up when you’d rather quit. In the “of course I can” mindset. In becoming the kind of person who does what they said they would.

We believe in doing hard things together. Because growth isn’t easy, but you’re not alone.

Together we’re building a culture of people who choose better, not because it’s easy, but because it’s worth it.

We believe in better! We believe in you!
Because people like us get better.

Kaiden Steyn

I’m an athlete in functional fitness, but more than that, I’ve spent the last six years diving deep into everything health and fitness. I’ve learned that being fit and healthy doesn’t have to be complicated and it’s not just for elite athletes.

That’s why we started Headway Fitness: to help people realise it’s simpler than they think to take control of their health and live a better life.

Brandon Bartels

My background is in system development and finances, which helps make sure you get your workout in time in a way that makes sense.

Over the years, I’ve come to believe that being healthy isn’t about being the fittest or strongest. It’s about taking care of your body so you can live well, move well, and age well - and that starts with consistency.
